Film Restoration Books Archives

Coming Soon

Eggshells (1969) is the first film directed by Tobe Hooper (director of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) and stars Kim Henkel (writer of Texas Chainsaw Massacre).   Eggshells is a trippy, acid laced manifesto of the Austin hippy scene, and is also the beginning of Hooper’s art house genius.  Tobe Hooper described Eggshells as “a hippie movie” and David Ford called it a “head film.”  Louis Black Productions and Watchmaker Films will have a 4k restoration finished by the end of 2016.
